Alright y’all. Today on VIP Jung-sun found out, without a reasonable doubt, that Yuri is definitely-definitely the mistress-mistress. So not only did Sung-joon cheat on her, he continuously lied to her about it when he said that she does not know that person and Sung-joon was interacting with her and helping her all along the way.
I mean, Jung-sun actually felt pity for Yuri when Yuri was accused of being the VP’s mistress. She took up for her and gave her advice. But now the tables have turned, wow.
We also found out a bit about Sung-joon’s past which is basically exactly like Yuri’s past. He is the product of an affair and has had to hang his head his entire life as he apologizes about it.

In a flashback we see that he got close to Yuri on the day his secret father died. She actually saw an argument he had with his step-family about it where Sung-joon was a doormat to his step-brothers rage.
Then she got him drunk (I think she did that on purpose!) and happily flirted with him on the way back to her place. She looks amazingly innocent, but I think that she knew what she was doing.
Okay, now off to Jung-sun. Y’all, Jung-sun is so bout it! She took that moment at the dinner with the VP’s family to politely and completely turn the tables on Sung-joon. She let them all know that Jung-soon and Yuri loved each other, had evidence to go with it, and went on ahead and slide it right across the table to the VP.

But in the preview, it looks like the VP is completely on Yuri’s side and is going to coach her on how to talk to Jung-sun. It kind of appears that the VP is going to teach Yuri that she is the top dog in this situation and should act like it.
So even if she did sleep with Sung-joon, she is still the Chairman’s grand daughter and the VPs daughter. She is the future of this company. In this situation, it really looks like Jung-sun should find another job. Her husband is the VPs right hand man and his other woman is the VPs daughter. Talk about awkward!

Jang Nara portrayed Na Jung Sun, who lived an ordinary life as an office worker and wife before being dragged into a scandal because of her husband and his mistress. “I was happy and had fun throughout the entire time filming thanks to our really kind director, writer, and all of the staff’s generosity, ” she said. “Even as we’re ending now, it’ll be a project that I won’t be able to forget in the future. Shin Jae Ha transformed into the VIP task force’s lovable troublemaker and mascot Ma Sang Woo. “It was a time that seemed both long and short, but it was a really joyful time for me, ” said the actor. “I think that the teamwork between actors and staff and consideration for others is always important on set, and the set of ‘VIP’ was particularly special. I was really happy while filming and even happier that the viewers enjoyed it.”

Though we probably won’t see the shaken dynamics until tomorrow.
But just, wow! I did not expect for Yuri to be the affair woman. That seemed too obvious. But then they took us through 9 hours of television that helped establish doubt that she was the mistress which made this reveal that she actually is the mistress even that much better!
We also had the smoking gun that Yuri was the VP’s woman turned on its head when we find out that she is actually his love child when he was in college. Though, he did not realize it which makes him look chivalrous. But, how many of us think that he did not realize it?

With how upset the VP was when he saw Yuri working in his place, it almost seemed as if he really loved Yuri’s mother and was forced to not marry her by his family. I feel like this show might go that route? Or maybe not.
But on the the other employees. So, does this mean that Mina is actually pregnant with her husband’s child and is getting an abortion while not telling him? Talk about family stakes! Plus, goodness, how much stress must she be under at home to really not want any more children.
Hyun-ah’s story took a backseat this episode for the reveal that Yuri is the mistress. But I am fine with that because her story was pretty strong in last weeks episode. It is nice to give her a rest.

I also like how they used the video reveal that Sang-woo saw. I thought it would be something scandalous, like the mistress and Sung-joon full on making out or something. But what was actually there was so much more subtle and damning.
I mean, no woman would lightly cling onto a married mans cuff. But the fact that it was done in the elevator when they knew that no one was watching and yet she knew that she still should not do it. Man, I felt the desperation in that tiny little cling that led to her lightly resting her head on his shoulder.
His emotions where also strong in that he gave her nothing. No look, no nod, no movement, he was a church steeple standing there and probably counting the seconds until that door opened.
