Dennis Rodman posts picture of Kim Jong-un wearing iconic Trump capThe photoshopped image of the North Korean leader posted on the former NBA player's Twitter account raises eyebrows.
The talks between the two leaders are expected as early as May. That meeting would follow one between the two Koreas set for April 27 - the first
Dennis Rodman has used his status as an unofficial ambassador to North Korea to promote closer ties between North Korea and the United States.
All About Korean Traditional Hats
An image of a smiling Kim Jong-un was photoshopped to show the North Korean leader wearing Donald Trump's iconic red hat with the slogan 'Make American Great Again'.
Mr Kim's love of basketball and admiration of Dennis Rodman's history in the sport - he has won five NBA championships and is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame - led to the three meetings.
US officials in President Barack Obama’s administration said they would have blocked Mr Rodma's trips to North Korea to meet Kim Jong-un if they had any power to implement that action.

The NBA has distanced itself from Mr Rodman's ambassadorial activities, with human rights groups criticising the former athlete for giving positive publicity to one of the world's most oppressive states.
Aware of the criticism, Rodman has defended what he called his friendship with Kim Jong-un, saying in 2013: He's my friend for life - I don't care what you guys think about him.
Rodman has said in the past he is motivated by a genuine desire to see closer ties between the US and North Korea.

The main thing we doing is trying to open doors between both countries, Rodman said in a video posted on Twitter, ahead of one of his trips to North Korea.

A video surfaced over the weeking which shows the group crossing a street, wearing MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) hats before two men start heckling them. One of the men can be seen pulling the hat off one of the victims’ heads and tossing it up in the air. His friend then stomps on it.
Can Trump Win Again? Why 2024 Looks Like 2016
The tweet was deleted after PJ Media reported on the incident. However, the video was picked up and re-posted by several users over the past week:
One of the South Koreans in the group wrote that the group was proud of Trump’s policies toward North Korea, and that they wanted to show their appreciation of the president.
“Two of us were North Korean defectors who escaped for freedom. They had to save up money for a long time to come. We thought America is a democracy. But we had no freedom to wear a hat?” He said. “We came here to speak out about human rights abuses. And we had no right to wear a hat? We thank Trump. The sanctions are working. The North Korean regime should be collapsed.”

Wendy Wright, the president of Christian Freedom International, an organization that helps the persecuted sat down with The Daily Caller and read a message from the group (in the video). She also shared the details of their important mission. The Koreans’ message read:
We are familiar with living a life where you cannot express your views, beliefs or values. In North Korea, if you do express opposing views and get caught, torture, execution or concentration camp becomes your fate. That was and is North Korea and its system. No freedom of expression, continuous fear, man-made starvation, fear of death. The people we are trying to rescue are those who have fled North Korea, and the person you took the hat off and stomped on it, his six-month-old son, six-year-old and nine-year-old daughter and his wife in North Korea were all brutally executed or sent to concentration camp by the brutal North Korean regime. He does not know all of the things President Trump does, but he is appreciative of the present administration’s stance towards North Korea and its effort for freedom and not compromising with Kim Jong Un in recent Hanoi summit. While you can express your discomfort towards the MAGA hat, as long as it is done in a peaceful manner, that’s fine with us. But what you did to us was absolute hatred. We are back in our homeland, but I hope you protect the freedom that was hard-fought, which was not free to your country.

Yankees Make Their Mark In South Korea
1. The family of the North Korean man in the video above was murdered by his government. He supports President Trump and appreciates what he is trying to do with North Korea. He was happy to be wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat in support of Trump’s efforts. What does the D.C. rapper’s actions say to you about Trump haters?
The attacks generally involve a stronger, bigger person, or a person in authority over the one they are attacking. Interesting to note: conservatives who did not agree with President Obama’s policies – and even believed his policies were hurting America – did not attack people displaying his “Hope and Change” motto.
3. Self-proclaimed “open-minded” progressives across the country are attempting through threats, insults and violence to shut down and take away the free speech rights of anyone who does not agree with them 100% of the time.
