Hwayugi was a drama starring by Lee Seung Gi and Oh Yeon Seo. In this post, I will review the first episode of it. And and in my next and next and next post, I will review every episode of it. So be ready to discover the world of this drama.
In the first episode the main character was introduced, Jin Seon Mi. She was a girl that has a special skill for she can see ghost. She always bring an umbrella to protect herself from any bad spirits. On her way walking in the forest, a bad spirit distracts her. A man came by to help her he is a man with a mustache. In exchange of his help, he asks Jin Seon Mi to go inside the forest and go to a house. In that house, she will get a fan. Jin Seon Mi went there and on her way out a man stopped her. She pretend to not hear him for it is the command of the man but her umbrella left that is why she talk. The man in the house is Son Oh Gong, the great sage, an equal to heaven. He asks Jin Seon Mi to put out the candle to be able escape him from that house. And in return, he will promise to protect her until the end.
They have a contract that whenver the girl call his name, he will go to her ans protect her. Son Oh Gong escaped but he break the contract and get the memory of Jin Seon Mi remembering his name. He left and didn’t care about what he left.

On the last part of this episode, jin seon mi bleed and because she is Sam Jang, bad spirits attracts to her and aim to eat her. Son Oh Gong follows the smell and fight bad spirits for he thinks he should be the only one to eat Sam Jang. But he was shocked that Sam Jang is the girl help him out the house, Jin Seon Mi.

I really love the beginning of this drama. It shows a different kind of drama. It has many twist and the story was unique. I will definitely watch it until the end.
