The summer season has always had love in the air. With the passing of spring and the symbolic beginning of new life comes the blossoming of many beautiful scenes under the sun. And through many spotless summer skies, our wedding videographers and cinematographers here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photobooth group, have spent years documenting many couples choosing a perfect summer day to be their wedding day. One such special couple was Peter & Paula, a young couple of Korean and Filipino backgrounds respectively, finding themselves and each other amidst the multicultural mosaic of Canada. The truly special couple held their summer season wedding day on June 8th, 2018 in a brilliant ceremony and celebration held at the Oakview Terrace Reception Centre, a breathtaking countryside wedding venue in Richmond Hill, just north of Toronto, and a first foray for our videographers and cinematographers to this rather impressive event space. Having filmed many multicultural weddings over the years, our videographers and cinematographers have always held the belief that true love can bloom regardless of who you are or where you’re from. Indeed, there’s always a beautiful love story to be found, and our videographers and cinematographers would love nothing more than to share such touchingly beautiful love stories with the world. So join us as we recall some of our most treasured memories from our work with Peter & Paula on their summer season multicultural wedding day.

Work for our videographers and cinematographers on Peter & Paula’s perfect summer season wedding day began with a morning’s visit to both bride and groom as they prepared for the lifelong journey ahead. Arriving at the nearby Sheraton Hotel, our videographers and cinematographers were fortunate to find the bride and groom to be in high spirits on one of the most memorable days of their lives. In our included highlight reel, our videographers and cinematographers document the many little pieces that make up the preparations for both bride and groom; from suiting up to first-looks with both bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the sharing of two truly touching letters from one heart to another on the day the two would be joined as one. For our favourite scene, it would have to be Paula being led down the aisle by her father underneath a spotless summer sky, as the wedding ceremony for Peter & Paula quickly approached and they would soon begin the rest of their lives together. And in an unforgettably beautiful ceremony, Peter & Paula were pronounced husband and wife to the cheers and applause of the crowd; a life’s memory captured in full by our videographers and cinematographers on film and shared in our included highlight reel. And true to tradition, Peter & Paula would conclude their wedding ceremony with a traditional Korean “pye-baek”, a heartwarming cultural exchange in vibrant dresses and colours. A truly immersive experience which you too can experience through our highlight reel.

For their ceremony and celebration, the newlyweds Peter & Paula had chosen a very special space itself, the Oakview Terrace in Richmond Hill, just north of our headquarters in Toronto, and a first visit for our videographers and cinematographers. A quiet and serene countryside cottage venue, the Oakview Terrace would provide the perfect event space for Peter & Paula on a bright and beautiful summer day. With two special ceremonies for their wedding day, the Oakview Terrace afforded Peter & Paula two very impressive spaces to hold their unforgettable wedding day memories, and for our videographers and cinematographers to capture every second of such heartwarming scenes in full. And with a beautiful scene of Paula carried atop Peter’s back in a Korean Paebaek ceremony, the newlyweds couldn’t be happier as they welcomed the night of their wedding day and the celebration to follow.
Peter & Paula held the Korean Paebaek ceremony in the cocktail space at Oakview Terrace, and held a sparkler exit at the end of the night.
And with ceremonies shared alongside family and friends, and a vow shared between one another, Peter & Paula welcomed their first day as husband and wife with an absolutely jubilant celebration. In our highlight reel, you can witness the unbelievable energy in both song and dance shared with the celebrants and their closest family and friends. And to end a perfect summer evening, Peter & Paula took to the countryside under the cover of night to continue their celebration as their guests held bright sparklers to illuminate their way; a breathtakingly beautiful scene we share with you in our highlight reel. So, with that, we here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, would like to wish Peter & Paula all the very best in their newfound lives and future together. We would like to thank Peter & Paula for giving our videographers and cinematographers the opportunity of filming and creating a beautiful film of their beautiful day. We hope that with a gorgeous summer wedding day complete, that Peter & Paula would have many more spotless skies and brilliant sunshine in their lives ahead.
