Love Story in Harvard I can say is no masterpiece especially in my eyes but I will say that I am glad I found the drama. Love Story in Harvard is one of the many dramas which starts off great but sadly goes down hill in the last few episodes.
The drama started off so well when they were in America where there was no resentment and all we had was the love triangle starting and a pair of young adults falling deeply in love. The chemistry between the main two leads was probably the best thing about the drama to be honest and even though having amazing chemistry is needed it can't hide the little flaws which can bring down a once great drama.

When I think back to when I watched Love Story in Harvard I remember being happy at first and being thankful I gave the drama a chance because at first I was bit hesitant. In the past before I started Love Story in Harvard I didn't really like Kim Tae Hee because of her character Han Yoo-ri from Stairway to Heaven. Back then if a character upset me I would automatically dislike the actor/actress(not anymore). The second I saw Kim Tae Hee playing in this drama all of that hatred disappeared and I started to really like the actress enough to watch other of her works.
When the drama shifted from America to Korea with the many years later gap I felt I lost a bit of love for the show and even though the first few episodes in the next installment was exciting because of the resentment and falling in love again. When all was said and done the drama went down another path and I honestly found myself watching the drama very slowly and pausing constantly. In the end I made it to the end and I have to say I don't think I will ever re-watch this drama. It was enjoyable while it lasted. I would suggest spending those 16 hours of your life on another drama.
So I read the synopsis of Love Story in Harvard and thought i'd give it a go and did not regret it. The romance was really good and I really felt the chemistry between the two leads. This drama really made me want to fall in love just like the characters, while attending university. The flow of story line is smooth, and makes you want to watch the next episode (for me personally at least) . The first half of the series is set at Harvard University and is mainly concerned with the burgeoning relationship betwe a Harvard Law School studt, Kim Hyun-woo (Kim Rae-won), and a Harvard Medical School studt, Lee Soo-in (Kim Tae-hee).
Kim Hyun-woo and Alex Hong (Lee Jung-jin) are two first-year studts at Harvard Law School, both from South Korea. Alex applies himself more and as such is the favorite of Professor John H. Keynes (Frank Gorshin). Hyun-woo, who initially has a hard time adjusting to the workload, falls into the bad graces of the professor, who repeatedly humiliates or ignores him. However, Hyun-woo perseveres and evtually wins the respect of Professor Keynes and his classmates. Both m meet and fall for Lee Soo-in, a third-year Korean studt at Harvard Medical School. This intsifies the rivalry betwe them.
Hyun-woo and Soo-in grow closer and evtually start dating. However, their relationship is short-lived as Soo-in's application to join OEP, an organization that provides medical care to patits in Third World countries, is accepted. After spding a night together, Soo-in breaks off all contact with Hyun-woo and leaves to work in South America, leaving him devastated.

Hyun-woo becomes involved in the same case, although on the side of the victims demanding compsation. In addition, Soo-in also returns to Korea at around the same time to conduct some medical research. Unknown to her at first, the research is related to the chemicals case that Alex and Hyun-woo are both working on, and predictably the three meet up again.
