If you’ve been reading my previous reactions for this series you probably know how much I love Jin-wook and Lee Yoo-mi’s (Song Ji-eun) chemistry. I felt I did a good deed last week that dramagenies rewarded me with some toe-curling moments in this episode. As Jin-wook and Yoo-mi keep denying their relationship, their actions speak differently. The ‘appetizer’ kiss was done in true K-drama fashion: without warning and overly romantic. But who cares? I like such things in K-dramas. Kudos to Yoo-mi for not dropping Jin-wook’s precious Chinas because that kiss is indeed knee-buckling.
Our two main leads didn’t have time to analyze what just had happened. Jin-wook’s father made a surprised visit. I actually questioned why Jin-wook agreed Yoo-mi should hide. He just told his aboeji earlier in the episode that a marriage should be born out of love. Er, writer-nim is still banking on the I-don’t-know-why-I-kiss-you trope. But if that is the major conflict writer-nim is planning to use then I’m expecting one good grand gesture at the end. That’ll probably win me over as a rom-com fan. Jung Hyun-tae and Joo Hye-ri also met in this episode. Hye-ri actually saw Dong-gu and reported it to Jin-wook, who just brushed her off quickly. I’m still trusting my theory that they will use Dong-gu’s character for some sort of misunderstanding for the couple. I also like how Hyun-tae rejected Hye-ri’s offer of guesting him on her show. Serves her right. But I think Hyun-tae would eventually agree because of Yoo-mi. The scene where he hugged Yoo-mi all of a sudden is a nice entree on what I hope is good and funny competition scenes with Jin-wook.
Since Jin-wook already ordered Yoo-mi to stop making his meals because of their 10-meals deal, this couple needs another reason to spend time together, right? So, Jin-wook asked Yoo-mi to accompany him on a business trip and act as the personal nutritionist for an important business client. I literally rolled my eyes with how trite this plot development is. At least, the characters themselves are questioning Jin-wook’s decision. I really love how Jin-wook’s secretary looks so skeptical when Jin-wook told him he was bringing Yoo-mi for business purposes only. I swear I could hear his mind shout a one sarcastic ‘okaaay, you said so’ line.
Watch Hidden Love
I actually like this episode, despite the remaining questions on my mind. I think going back to the place where they shared unforgettable memories is a good move. They need to have closure with what happened to them three years ago. They should stop tip-toeing on the fact that they felt something for each other since that night. Jin-wook and Yoo-mi need to come into terms with their feelings because that is when, I think, the conflicts set-up in this series would work. Also, can I have a scene with Jin-wook and his mother since he is in that area/province already? It would be good to know why he has a hard time sleeping alone. I know, these are too much wishes from me but I’m frustrated Sung Hoon’s potential isn’t being utilised enough.

The witchy announcer Jo hye Ri receives points from Jin Wook's father who was the chairman of the company. After talking with Hye Ri he was happy as if he talked with his daughter in law and dream of the grandchildren.
Jin Wook made a reservation for the dinner but it was too sudden for Yoo Mi she refuse saying use the proper way to inform her beforehand so she might cancel her plans.
Later she feels it was because of business and she did misunderstood it. She then cancel her plans and text Jin Wook that she will waiting at the first floor. As Jin Wook already cancel the reservation yet the text made his mood. He took Yoo Mi to his house before she could change her mind.

Yoo Mi resisted to go inside at first but can't do anything as wanted repay the meals as quickly as possible. She was the first ever guest Jin Wook invited at his house. He cooked for her Yoo Mi helped him while cooking and unknowingly touch the strings of his heart again by her small act.
It was l;east to be serious rather we laugh when Jin Wook told her to switch off the lights, he love to eat in soft lightening. Yoo Mi couldn't able to find the switch Jin Wook step a head to help her the way he come at made her thought he might be there to kiss her. We just smile and he just switch off the lights then lid the candle and ask her to help putting these plates.
It was too sudden neither we nor Yoo Mi imagine Jin Wook will goingto steal a kiss disguising it as a appetizer. After the appetizer he took the full course meal and was also careful Yoo Mi might not drop the plates. We really love to see this emotion full romance scene between the two of them.
K Drama Reaction: My Secret Romance
After doing what he wanted he normally sit on the table and ask Yoo Mi to join, but for Yoo Mi who senses were flying in the air couldn't understand Jin Wook's sudden act. before they could start their dinner the door bell rings and the chairman interrupt their dinner date.
Jin Wook was startled to see his father paying visit and told Yoo Mi to hide. The chairman was too sharp he noticed Jin Wook's hiding someone, but it turned out to be a starry cat upstairs. Actually Yoo Mi saw the jewelry box and was shocked why did he kept that thing till now.
After the chiarman left Jin Wook found Yoo Mi was hiding inside the closet. She now wanted to take the leave and started her habitual hiccups. Jin Wook couldn't force her to stay and let her leave. yet his heart wasn't at ease because of Yoo Mi's hiccups.

After knowing Jin Wook had the other piece of bra pad she reminded of the past how she left and acted all insane in the taxi that the driver couldn't resist noticing her. After that she again started avoiding Jin Wook, she didn't had the courage to face him as he reminded her of one night stand.
Jin Wook then made Yoo Mi to go along with him on a business trip and told her its an important business so she should focus on nutritionist food for the business partner who was suffering from diabetes. In other words he wanted Yoo Mi to take special care of their meal that way the best impression they can leave for the future business. Aside from the business we think Jin Wook has other motive to take Yoo Mi there.
He deliberately did all things to make Yoo Mi remind of the past. He prepare a dress and send it to her, when she appear at the waiting hall Jin Wook couldn't able to take his eyes off from her. She looks as pretty as a doll in that outfit.
